Burnmouth, Berwickshire

Slightly to the north, the small fishing  village of St. Abbs can be found which as well as being beautifully scenic is also very popular with divers. Just outside the village of St. Abbs, to the north, there is a splendid Nature Reserve and Bird Sanctuary and the walk along the cliff-tops to St. Abbs Head is breathtaking and should not be missed.

The Berwickshire coastline, with its small villages of St Abbs, Coldingham and Burnmouth, provides a fascinating and beautiful range of scenery - from high cliffs and deep clear water to sandy coves and quaint fishing harbours. An ideal setting for a spot of 'twitching', walking, diving or fishing.

The historic walled town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is within a short drive and offers a main east coast railway station to service north and south travellers (London 3 hours 20 minutes). The town of Berwick upon Tweed is extremely well connected being adjacent to the A1 trunk road and having a main line railway station with direct access to Edinburgh, Newcastle upon Tyne and London.
